Writing Centre Thesis Week

We regularly organise a Thesis Week to help students who are struggling to work on their thesis. The goal of Thesis Week is to help you get started, stay motivated, and focus. Working together with a writing tutor as well as a small group of other students who are in the same boat will give you an incentive to work regularly and effectively.

During Thesis Week you will meet your group online twice a day to make a plan for the day, discuss your progress, and get advice and support. Throughout the week you will also have the opportunity to ask your tutor questions individually.

All students of the University of Amsterdam are welcome: the only requirement is that you are working on your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis.

Are you writing your thesis in Dutch, or would you prefer a Dutch-speaking thesis group? Visit the Schrijfcentrum page.

Online registration opens about two weeks beforehand (mark your calendar to avoid disappointment, as there are usually more applications than spots).
